Neil Moran Wins Paint Protection Film Competition
With over $75,000 in prize money on the line, the competition at the 2024 Window Film Conference and Tint-Off was fierce, focused and ready to rock! And when the dust settled, Neil Moran of CGS Vinyl in Pelham, Alabama, came out on top in the Paint Protection Film category, delivering a standout performance.
“My first year, I placed in the top 10; last year, I completely bombed, and then this year, I redeemed myself,” says Moran, admitting that intense focus and a little bit of luck helped him win.

The inaugural 2024 PPFMag Top Dealers Award Ceremony celebrated the leading companies in their market categories, as well as those with the highest sales volumes in the PPF industry. The companies honored included:

In a touching moment, 40-year tinting veteran Billy Aiton took the main stage on Friday, accompanied by his family, to receive a certificate of dedication. Diagnosed with cancer late last year, Aiton was honored for his remarkable contributions to the window film industry. The 2024 WFCT was held in his honor, shining a light on his legacy.
“Billy helps people, and he helps the industry,” said Debra Levy, WFCT managing director. “He steps up when asked, follows his intuition when it comes to lending a hand, and offers support even before people know they need it.”
